At the age of 88, actor Anthony Hopkins is embarking on a new career and revealing his most intimate, little-known calling —that of a composer— with the release of Life is a Dream. This recording was conducted by the renowned Maestro Gustavo Dudamel, leading Philharmonia Orchestra, and features guest soloists Venezuelan cellist Gregorio Nieto and Argentine pianist Sergio Daniel Tiempo.

Opus 33
Romantic Cello
Gregorio Nieto and Josep Vicent, leading the London Symphony Orchestra, have released the album Opus 33: Romantic Cello, by ARIA Classics.
The recording includes Saint-Saëns's Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 33; Glazunov's Chant du Ménestrel, Op. 71; Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme for cello and orchestra in A major, Op. 33; and "The Swan" from Saint-Saëns's The Carnival of the Animals.

Escencia
Esencia: Latin American Masterpieces for Cello and Piano, released by ARIA Classics, features performances alongside Japanese pianist Riko Higuma of works by Astor Piazzolla, Alberto Ginastera, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Julio César Oliva, Paquito D’Rivera, Aldemaro Romero, and Simón Díaz —a tribute to Latin American music–. Recorded in New York, this debut album was co-produced by Argentine composer Emilio Solla and Nieto, featured Cuban artist Paquito D’Rivera as a special guest, and included executive production by Venezuelan Cora Capriles.
